Union County Bio-Blitz
Friday, June 8-Saturday, June 9
Beginning Friday, June 8 at 5 p.m. and running for 24 hours, come visit us at Rahway River Park in Rahway, Clark, Winfield & Cranford for the 8th Annual Union County Bioblitz. As a co-sponsor of this event, RRA Trustee Dr. Emile DeVito will be conducting our popular Owl Prowl at 9 p.m. on June 8 and an early-morning birding trip on June 9 at 6 a.m. Stop by and learn the amazing diversity of living things that call our watershed home!
2nd Annual Rahway River Paddle
Saturday, June 23, 11 a.m.
Mark your calendars for the Second Annual Rahway River Paddle: Saturday, June 23 at 11 a.m (rain date Sunday, June 24). This leisurely 5.5-mile trip takes paddlers from the Rahway Yacht Club in Rahway out to the Veterans Waterfront Park on the Arthur Kill in Carteret and is a wonderful way to experience the intersection of human industry and nature's resilience. This trip is for experienced kayakers only and participants must bring their own boat. Click here to download a registration form.
